The aim is to predict on which segment the wheel will land once it has come to a stop. The mechanical wheel is divided into 54 segments, 48 of which are numbered and six contain bonus bets. If the wheel stops on a number you’ve bet on, you've won.
There are four standard bet categories on the wheel: 1, 2, 5, and 10. Each number pays out equal to the numerical amount. For example, if the stopper lands on 5, you receive 5x your stake. The Chance segment has the same function as the Chance card in traditional Monopoly. If the wheel stops on this segment, players with winning bets will be awarded a random cash prize or have a multiplier applied to their next spin.
While the biggest possible Chance multiplier is 10x, you can re-trigger the Chance card with your free spin and multiply the value of your multiplier. For example, if you get a 10x multiplier on your first spin and receive another 10x on your free spin, the multiplier value will be 10x10. That means you can get a potential multiplier of 100x, leading to a 1,000:1 max payout!
Monopoly Live has a return to player (RTP) of 96.23%, but the RTP value varies depending on your bet type. This figure only takes the four standard bets into account. When calculating the average for all bet types, the RTP drops to 91.30%.
While the bonus segments often dish out the biggest payouts, this also depends on how well you do in the bonus game or the card you draw when landing on a Chance segment.
